Dr. Sean Burkhardt combines board-certified Sports Chiropractic and Physiotherapy, Fellowships in Functional Neurology and Operational Medicine , strength and conditioning, and tactical performance expertise to identify and address the movement, durability, recovery, and performance limitations that hold candidates back.
Dr. David Walton is a former Green Beret with decades of Special Operations experience and firsthand knowledge of the physical and mental demands required to succeed throughout the Special Forces pipeline.
Together, they combine clinical expertise, performance development, and Special Operations experience to help candidates arrive healthier, more durable, and better prepared for the challenges ahead.

SUAR Coaching Options
Level 1 – Foundational Programming
Build the physical foundation required for selection with an individualized training plan tailored to your timeline. Programming is delivered through BridgeAthletic and focuses on running, rucking, strength, endurance, recovery, and selection-specific preparation for candidates who are ready to execute independently.
Best for: Self-driven candidates who want expert programming without ongoing coaching.
Level 2 – Development | 1-on-1 Coaching
Everything included in Level 1, plus individualized coaching, movement and durability assessments, injury-risk reduction, performance analysis, and monthly coaching with Dr. Sean Burkhardt and Dr. David Walton. Your program evolves as you progress, helping you eliminate weaknesses and arrive more durable, confident, and prepared.
Best for: Candidates who want expert guidance, accountability, and direct coaching throughout their preparation.
Level 3 – Operator Readiness Lab
A multi-day, on-site validation event designed for candidates approaching SFAS. Experience realistic selection scenarios, physical testing, team events, navigation, leadership challenges, and receive candid feedback about your readiness before arriving at selection.
Best for: Candidates who want an objective assessment of their readiness under realistic selection conditions.


Durability is a Decision
The SUAR Durability Programs consist of targeted 7–12 week video-guided programs designed to help SFAS candidates and tactical athletes build resilience in the anatomical regions most commonly stressed during training and selection.
Programs are delivered through the BridgeAthletic training platform and includes:
